Books
Because I am insecure this is my attempt to convince you that I'm some kind of pseudo-intellectual who reads books, rather than a sadsack who eats jammy dodgers and can quote all the dialogue from both Ace Ventura films, and simply has books in lieu of friends. So these are some books that I am either currently reading, have recently read, or can just see on my bookshelf from where I'm sitting. I hope to add to this.
- 'Termination Shock' by Neal Stephenson
- 'Nexus' by Yuval Noah Harari
- 'This is For Everyone' by Tim BernersLee
- 'The Murder of Sonny Liston' by Shaun Assel
- 'The Human Use of Human Beings' by Norbert Wiener (if you noted that this title and author could be rearranged to read "The Human Use of Human Wieners by Norbert Being" I would ask you to remember that this website is intended to be a sanctuary for learned discourse and elevated subjects like art and science, and is not the place for hilarious tomfoolery)
- 'Beyond a Boundary' by (some guy who's name I can't read from here - it's a book about cricket)
- 'The Extinction of Experience' by Christine Rosen
- 'Reality+' by David Chalmers and his lovely hair
- 'Slouching Towards Bethlehem ' by Joan Didion
